Good question. Once the Jaiku community grows a bit, I think its features will make it a far more fun, interesting and sticky place. Glad you are here. I was at the recent VON which was a terrific event.
I'd agree ... we need two way on the mobile client and sms (for US) to make it easier to keep tabs on while on the go. The desktop clients have improved greatly recently!
atmasphere, re: the feature requests, you most certainly have our ear. Since we'd prefer Jaiku to have as few outages as possible, we're trying to balance between early release and decent reliability as we add much-needed new features like two-way on the mobile client. We're communicating with ths SMS provider almost on a daily basis about the US shortcode - we have the number, but the operators' OKs for the service are still pending.

It's great that Jaiku's taking off well now, I never really liked Twitter... Jaiku does most of the work for me :o)
